Your Credit Union Partner’s new website boasts new and enhanced features and functionality, including access to best-practice content designed to inspire.
SEATTLE, June 7, 2019 – Your Credit Union Partner (YCUP) capped another successful year of serving credit unions across the country with the re-launch of its website, http://yourcupartner.org. The new site features a mobile-friendly design, direct newsletter signup, introduction to YCUP’s newest team members supporting diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, testimonials, information on booking YCUP speakers or training, and enhanced functionality for inquiry/RFP submission. A brand-new News/Thought Leadership section highlights the firm’s nationwide impact, scholarship program, and provides a treasure-trove of free best-practice content to help credit unions better serve their communities.
“YCUP has grown up,” said Alison Carr, YCUP chief strategy officer, who oversaw the creation of the new site. “We have the most amazing clients, and honestly wouldn’t be to this point without them. Between the relationships we’ve built during the past nine years and with the growth of our business offerings, it seemed the right time to take the next step with our digital platform. We worked with the amazing team at CarpeViam for design and development and we couldn’t be more proud of the final result. We hope others share in our enthusiasm for this next chapter for YCUP.”
Business has grown exponentially for YCUP, purely through word of mouth referrals. The firm has added 20 clients so far this year and now serves more than 170 credit unions nationwide. Expanded regional and national partnerships with NWCUA, Mark H. Smith, Inclusiv/Juntos Avanzamos, and Experian helped fuel the growth. According to YCUP’s 2018 Impact Report, the firm’s regular strategic planning clients averaged 11.1-percent loan growth and averaged 4.76-percent membership growth during 2018.
“Our success highlights the fact that credit unions need more support,” said Scott Butterfield, YCUP founder and principal. “In today’s competitive financial services landscape, credit unions must have a clear vision of their purpose. Our expertise in serving the underserved provides credit unions more opportunities for health and relevancy, ultimately leading to financial stability and wealth building in the communities that need it most.”
Butterfield said the firm’s new website is useful regardless of the user’s client status.
“The value here is the free content designed to assist credit union leaders in their work,” he continued. “We are fortunate to contribute regularly to many of our industry’s leading publications and have included those articles on our site. We encourage leaders to sign up for blog updates and ‘like’ our YCUP Facebook page so we can keep the best-practice stories coming. YCUP wouldn’t be where it is today without our clients, partners, and collaborators. Together, I believe we’re making a difference.”
